Dog & Puppy Training Classes

Group training is offered at selected venues and held over 4 weeks for approximately one hour per week.

Advanced Group Dog Training Classes

Duration: 5 weeks, 1.5 hours per week.
Available in selected areas.

These dog training classes are for those who want to either start at the beginning with an older dog or polish up on a dog that has already been through some basic dog training. It is a great time to socialize a bit, too.

Topics covered include pet obedience, walking to heel, sit stay, down stay, stand stay and recall and aggressive dog training. Concentration is on teaching your dog to focus even with many distractions.

Puppy Training School

Available in selected areas.

Puppy training schools are available in some areas. This specialized puppy training consists of 4 one-hour sessions over 4 weeks. You will be in a class with 5-10 other puppies and their owners.

The primary purpose of puppy school is socialization at an early age with other dogs and other people to introduce good leash control without stress. Puppy obedience training also familiarizes your dog with commands and correct puppy behaviour that will make both your lives more enjoyable.

As the dog gets older, he will challenge you more and try to get away with a few bad habits. These can be nipped in the bud by combining puppy school with Bark Busters home dog training.
