Pet Fire Safety Tips
4th July 2016
Learn what to do to keep yourself, your family and your pets safe in the event of a fire in your home. Evacuate your dog on a lead or in a pet carrier to prevent him from bolting outside. If you can't find your dog in the house, leave an outside door open and then call his name once you get out. He may be able to hear you and escape. Be ready to catch him?he may be panicked. Many times pets get out even before you do and you could be jeopardising your own life, plus that of a fire fighter, if you run back inside.
