“Had an incredible first virtual training session with Mark! Porter (5 month old golden retriever) responded very well to the advice and tips given, and we can’t wait to see how he progesses further! Thanks Mark!”

Tarini, M., Wellington, North Island.

“Amazing, already recommended to friends this morning.
Took Banksy to the park today different dog, did not run off at all when off his lead and other dogs in the park! Played hide and seek and he loved it. Practiced all the techniques we learnt and have one very happy dog and family. Banksy now fast asleep, happy house.”

Kelley, S., Strowan, South Island.

“Outstanding. Highly professional and would highly recommend. Improvements were immediate.”

Demelza, C., Dunedin, South Island.

“Mark was great at getting us on the right track with Harley. He’s already responding well to being outside, left alone and travelling in the car. He is still a puppy and a work-in-progress. Looking forward to working with Mark to give us a happy home.”

Melissa, I., Christchurch, South Island.

“After searching for an in-home dog trainer for quite some time, Mark was the only one that made the effort to call/text/email back quickly and offer advice BEFORE we set up the 1st appointment. (Alot didn’t bother to reply at all or would refer us onto others due to my Pup’s breed). Very personable and really knows his stuff! Peaches responded well to the training and we’ve put things into action already. I’ve noticed a huge change in not only her, but the way we interact as well after only one session. She was quite fearful of walking down our stairs & leaving the property, after a few MINUTES, she was able to do this – minus the fear. He gave us alot of great information and it’s the first time in my life I’m looking forward to doing homework lol. Mark is worth every penny and then some! I can’t speak highly enough of him. I’d 100% recommend to anybody looking for an in home dog trainer. :)”

Ebony, H., Wellington, North Island.

“Mark’s suggestions, training techniques and his supportive nature gave me the confidence I needed to get Gus and Benny on track. The positive results I’m aiming for were already starting to show in the time he spent with us and I am looking forward to continuing his lessons and watch my boys grow into the great dogs I now know they will be, all thanks to Mark.”

Jeannine, M., Karoir, North Island.

“Thank you so much Mark what a difference a couple hours training has done. I have a happy settled dog and I know now my life is going to so much easier now that I have learnt the skills to manage my lovely Ollie. Thanks so much.”

Kathy, C., Christchurch, South Island.

“Fantastic communication, explained everything in detail and gave examples of why we are doing the excises. Highly recommended.”

Kasey, P., Christchurch, South Island.

“Lots of information for the owner and the dog.
I have found the training helpful. Buddy is calmer then he was. He is not barking as much and has started to listen to me. Mark was informative and helpful. The training is practical and works around the owners lifestyle and home environment. Mark concentrates on the dog and getting the dog to focus on what it is being told to do.”

Brian, E., Christchurch, South Island.

“Pipi was a hyperactive dog that didnt listen very well, 10 minutes after Mark arriving she had stopped using the back yard as a race track, started listening. 2 weeks after Marks visit pipi is a completely different dog, shes much more relaxed, responsive, its a pleasure to take her for walks as im not being dragged down the road, i can have people come round an not fight with her over the front door. i had tried a few different training outfits but none can compare to Mark, we still have a way to go but its a relief knowing that with the lifetime guarantee i have help and support a phone call away. Thanks again Mark.”

Kelly, A., Christchurch, South Island.

“Marks training session was extremely beneficial and we have had instant results by implementing his techniques. His training methods and plan were clearly explained, logical and easy to put in to practise in daily life without using treats. For the first time in two years I have been on a nice walk with my dog without being pulled down the street and she is generally calmer and happier around the home. I wish I had done this sooner!!”

Lisa, W., Port Chalmers, South Island.

“What an absolute pleasure to meet and work with Mark, the results were amazing within a few hours. Already the next morning Ziggi stayed out of the kitchen, as an example.”

Donald & Frances, B., Blenheim, South Island.

“Results by the end of the training session were more than I could’ve imagined. Since our session Waititi is noticeably more relaxed in so many ways, beyond the areas we addressed, and friends have commented on how soft” his face seems now. He is a senior rescue dog that I’ve had for a couple of months.”

Kathryn, T., Wellington, North Island.

“Mark made an immediate impact on Archie with his behaviour improving straightaway. It has been two weeks since the visit with the techniques shown making Archie a completely different dog and much easier to control. There is still more work to do with him but it now seems possible. We thank Mark a lot for the changes he has helped create.”

Jason, M., Christchurch, South Island.

“MY training has been AMAZING, I have a very placid King Charles Spaniel and then my beautiful wee Chihuahua arrived. He WAS very aggressive, attempting to bite ankles when anyone came to the house (I had NO control and put him straight in his crate if someone came). He WAS so protective of me, his house, his car, his brother, his best friend. First meeting with Mark I had 3 dogs here including my Chi and he was up on the couch/window sill barking aggressively. I removed him to his crate While Mark and I chatted, I was then shown how to open the door to the room, then the door to his crate. I had control as all 3 dogs following me out of the room. I have learnt how to help my Chi and in time overcome his fears. In ONE session I am so much more confident in doing the right thing for my Chi. Yesterday we went to the supermarket, left the 3 dogs in the car (usually 2 would bark continuously for ages) but yesterday 3 small woofs and I had control to settle them. Went again this morning and the Chi had 1 small bark and then settled … YA
AND a quick lesson on how to get my Chi to use the cat/dog door (after over a year of me trying) and he now goes in AND out no problems… WOW !!!
I just never knew what to do, now I have a heap of information to read through, lessons to learn and I am so grateful, this was worth every $$ to help my Chi be a more social and relaxed dog.
Mark THANK YOU”

“We got Coco at 6months old. Blind in one eye from an hereditary trait from her father, she was very timid and coming from a farm.. seemed afraid of everything “Town”. We decided after having her at home for 3weeks to call Mark at Bark Busters to get some basic obedience training and to help her with her fears. Within a few minutes of training with Mark my husband and I saw an immediate change in Coco. No longer fearful of all those unknowns and now knowing her place within our “pack”. She is a different dog, Much more relaxed. Still alot of training ahead, but she is doing so well. We would definitely recommend Mark to anyone needing help with their pup/dog.”

Debbie R., Blenheim, South Island.

“From the moment Mark walked in the door things began to change for us and Mia. Mark was able to explain to us in very understandable terms how we might alter our approach. Then he was able to help us instigate these changes immediately. Mia responded so well. It is only day one and we have a lot of practice to do. But it feels like we have finally found a way forward after trying so many different alternatives. Thank you Mark for your help.”

Dave C., Christchurch, South Island.

“Wow, what can I say? Emailing Bark Busters in desperation last night, but not expecting to hear from them for weeks, but within the hour I had a reply to my email. Mark was up in Nelson on a family trip till Monday and felt our situation was urgent and booked us in for 12pm today. He started training us and Lucy the minute he got to the top of our stairs. Amazing trainer, speaks clearly and can easily understand what he is saying. Within less than 5 minutes he had Lucy subdued and obeying commands. NO treats involved, just voice commands. Highly, highly recommend. Lifetime guarantee with follows by phone, video or in person anytime. Very quiet happy house. Thank you Mark.”

“At the end of first lesson our Rottie was like a diff dog, I wouldn’t have believed he could learn so fast. Next day 2 of our dogs ran towards the fence barking, said the magic word and they both stopped dead, they looked at me like “hang on were confused, what happened”. Mark is a dog whisperer.”

“I was a bit nervous at first because of how Jett behaves but after just 10 minutes or so Mark had help to get Jett quite and that made me feel better. Jett did really well for this first session. I’m very happy with how Mark is non-judgemental even when I stuff up or Jett decides to dig his heals in. I would recommend Mark Gall from Bark Busters to anyone and it’s great comfort with the lifetime guarantee, knowing that if something else happens down the line I still have the support. Looking forward to a positive outcome in the future. Let the hard work being.”
