Project Description

Dog Training Classes

Duration: 4 weeks, 1 – 1.5 hours per week.
Available in selected areas.

These dog training classes are for those who want to either start at the beginning with an older dog or polish up on a dog that has already been through some basic dog training. It is a great time to socialise a bit, too.

Topics covered include pet obedience, walking to heel, sit stay, down stay, stand stay, recall and other dog training. Concentration is on teaching your dog to focus even with many distractions.

Puppy Training Classes

Puppy training schools are available in some areas. This specialised puppy training consists of 4 one–hour sessions over 4 weeks. You will be in a class with 5–10 other puppies and their owners.

The primary purpose of puppy school is socialisation at an early age with other dogs and other people to introduce good lead control without stress. Puppy obedience training also familiarises your dog with commands and correct puppy behaviour that will make both your lives more enjoyable.

As the dog gets older, he will challenge you more and try to get away with a few bad habits. These can be nipped in the bud by combining puppy school with Bark Busters home dog training.

“Great session with Keiko. We feel a lot more confident about working with our dog now.”

“We were very pleased with Keiko’s ways of teaching us the psychology of dogs and then applying it to real situations like food manners and basic commands. We look forward to more sessions with Keiko!”

“Mark’s suggestions, training techniques and his supportive nature gave me the confidence I needed to get Gus and Benny on track. The positive results I’m aiming for were already starting to show in the time he spent with us and I am looking forward to continuing his lessons and watch my boys grow into the great dogs I now know they will be, all thanks to Mark.”
