Obviously, this is still a work in progress, but I feel like I have been given some really good tools and information to help us help Duke to be the best boy he can be. Duke is a rehome to us and a very different temperament to our other relaxed English pointer Della. Very little good obedience training prior to him coming to us at one year old.
Duke is 2 years old and a rehome at one year old to the current owners. He's a very unfocused boy and recall pulling, barking at the front gate, full on activity.
He responded quite well but definitely needs more work, and one on one focus by the owners so he can learn. His walking and recall both showed to be improved by the end of the lesson.
He will get there and now the owners have the tools and knowledge to apply the refocusing program.
Great initial steps for a dog who really has had no previous investment.
