Bark Busters Reviews and Customer Testimonials

18th December 2019 - Mark Gall

Pipi was a hyperactive dog that didnt listen very well, 10 minutes after Mark arriving she had stopped using the back yard as a race track, started listening. 2 weeks after Marks visit pipi is a completely different dog, shes much more relaxed, responsive, its a pleasure to take her for walks as im not being dragged down the road, i can have people come round an not fight with her over the front door. i had tried a few different training outfits but none can compare to Mark, we still have a way to go but its a relief knowing that with the lifetime guarantee i have help and support a phone call away. Thanks again Mark

- K.A, chrsitchurch/ sydenham, South Island (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Pipi is a 3.5 yr old Lab x staffy x collie potentially. Extremely hyperactive and with huge adrenaline , barking and fear aggressive issues, also pulling and recall a major problem, A rehome dog for the owner. Pipi and Kelly both worked extremely well and Kelly was able to implement the training techniques as we walked through the various behaviour problems. Pipi showed focus quite quickly and it'll be great to catch up and see the results. No treats needed training.

Mark made an immediate impact on Archie with his behaviour improving straightaway. It has been two weeks since the visit with the techniques shown making Archie a completely different dog and much easier to control. There is still more work to do with him but it now seems possible. We thank Mark a lot for the changes he has helped create.

- J.M, Christchurch, South Island (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Archie is a Huntaway x Collie, 5 year old with Barking and bite issues. Great dog but willful and clever , just needed some focus and guidance. Well done team Archie.

After our training session with Mark we saw a noticeable difference in Kokoda's behaviour from the beginning to the end of the session. Prior to the session we hadn't seen too big of a difference in Kokoda's behaviour, but Mark pointed us in the right direction and we've already seen a good improvement in her behaviour.

- N.B, Spreydon, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Kokoda is a very nervous dog , 6mth old Collie x Kelpie, high energy and although not aggressive was heading that way with fear reactions to people and dogs, Big barker at gate whilst trying to back away and in the house would continue to bark at visitors. Huge improvements on the day and lots to implement but both Mums did an awesome job of learning and applying.

It took no time at all before Mark was seen by Baxter as Leader of the Pack. Mark then taught ways to ensure we remain in control. The techniques are simple and effective. We learnt a lot and have been applying it daily. Baxter is a different dog and continues to improve as we invest in becoming head of the pack.

- B.H, Swannanoa, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Baxter was a very exciteable Staffy, lovely nature party boy. But needed to calm down and focus on his little lifestyle block of ducks , chooks , rabbits. He responded well and the owners have been putting in the daily work. Well done everyone.

It was very good and Mark was very easy to work with.

- T.E, Greymouth, West Coast (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
This dog is a Kelpie cross and was very strong at guarding the property, nervous on new people, pulled ,recall was an issue when focussed on anything else. Ocho responded very well in the lesson and on the day,to the point of not wanting to go to answer the door, a huge improvement. Certainly bright but also dominant so consistency will be the key and daily programming through focus exercises which I 'm sure the owners will apply well.

Mark was really helpful and informative. He trained us to communicate with our dog properly. After 3 hours Rex's attitude had completely changed. I have since taken him for a big walk and rather than being pulled everywhere he walked by my side. I will definately be keeping this up everyday. I would highly recommend Mark from Bark Busters.

- A.S, Amberley, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Rex is a young ,full of beans German shepherd, jumped out , barked at door , pulled lots , pretty much party central shepherd style. Massive improvements not only on the day but now 2 weeks down the track still working well and listening. Will be a work in progress as he's still only a teen dog now. Nice work guys.

Really helpful training. It wasn't just training the dog, I was trained to communicate better with my dog. After 3 hours my dog already felt like a completely different dog. A lot less barking, walking her is enjoyable again because she doesn't need to dragged anymore and she listens better in general. Leash and other training equipment that we received was also a great plus.

- J.T, Sydenham, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Awesome effort by these owners to follow and implement my instructions. This dog has nipped at the gates and doors before all because Sif thought he was in charge. Nice soft programming and passive skills has refocused Sif and the owners :-)

Mark was most helpful, found issues we didn't know we had , separation anxiety , barking at neigbours, recall, pulling and attention seeking.

- C.R, Burnside, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
The dogs in question have good temperament but sort of run the show. Rusty a Briard has separation and barking issues , hes a slightly nervous temperament but with out strong leaders, so he thinks he has to do those jobs. His side kick Frankie is the play drive manipulator for attention. They'll be a works in progress but showed good improvement on the day.

So helpful and not judgemental (regards the owner, not the dog). Helped in understanding why the dog was doing some things

- B.S, Christchurch, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Very bossy teenaged Schnauzer who has got away with the leaders roll. He responded well and the owners implemented the techniques well on the day , Follow up soon to see how progress has gone.

18th February 2019 - Mark Gall

We really enjoyed the training session and the understanding of how our boy interprets our commands

- P.K, Rolleston, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Bruce is a mastiff ,possibly cross and has not a lot of attention or training by previous owners , number 3 or 4 from memory. Now in a forever home and doing well . I was called in for his pulling ,also social skills, and puppy behaviour even though hes not a puppy , May not have had a puppyhood. He responded well and the owners took the info and applied it well. Looking forward to catching up in a few weeks.

5th February 2019 - Mark Gall

Mark was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable, nonjudgmental, listened to our concerns, took the time to explain how to address these issues and why in this particular way, as well as spent time putting the learning into practice. Simple, yet effective techniques used. Just within the session we saw a huge improvement which gave us encouragement to really follow through with the daily programming/homework. We feel really supported in the journey ahead.

- H.G, Redwood, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Louie is a Tibetan Mastif with a big bark at any noise , any movement . lovely nature but really did think he was boss. The owners put the techniques into play and Louie responded to our speakdog program almost instantly. He will be a little bit of a work in progress but great forward steps already. Awesome work guys ,keep it up.
