Just what we needed, in what seemed like a short time, although it was nearly 3 hours, we understood how we could get Ice's attention which is difficult with a deaf dog. We have a long road a head of us, training ourselves and our boy but we saw a huge difference in such a short time and have already been able to use the training tools to help us whilst out in public. I feel confident that with Mark's guidance and all of our hard work we will achieve a happy friendly dog again

Fantastic but confused English bull terrier. Deaf and unable to understand the owners , I was called in for an aggression bite which in view of the dog s deafness would probably have been fear and misunderstanding. He gets frights easily and sometimes shows reaction but communication was very difficult until we explained the use of a sight distraction to catch his attention and then body language communication ,and lots of praise Amazing effort on the part of the owners who honestly thought they may have to put him down. Work in progress but awesome start.

Mark arrived on time and appropriately dressed in the Bark Buster uniform which presented in a professional and well prepared manner. He provided a detailed explanation of Bark Busters, the methods used by the therapists, dog behaviours and how we should expect the puppy to behave. He also undertook practical lessons with the pup and us. Over the two and half hour session we covered a comprehensive range of topics

Lovely couple and great wee Cavoodle pup Maisie. They have had dogs before but not a pup for a very long time. Wee Maisie and the owners responded well and ,as expected for a 9 week old, the basics will fall in place soon enough. Well done Maisies owners.

Our dog Toka is a boisterous, large, play driven puppy. Lovely nature, but behaviour pretty questionable - much more interested in (really roughly) baiting his humans to play than in listening. Mark made an immediate impression on him, and had him submitting and listening within minutes. More importantly, as first time dog owners, Mark has been teaching us how to teach him, and how to 'learn' him. We have now had two sessions with Mark, and our doggo has made much progress, as have we. We are feeling much more confident - and have gone from being eaten alive to having a puppy that we enjoy being with, and who enjoys us. We are really pleased to have gone with the life time guarantee, so that we can access on-going support while we continue to get to know our doggo as he goes through different developmental stages.

great effort by the owners to get their head around how to handle Toka. my first contact with the owners was"do we have an aggressive beast, he bites all the time" A bit of teaching and a bit of time and Toka is turning out a great wee man.

Bert becomes very anxious with people in general and barks continually at them from a distance. He will not let anyone approach him. At the beach he will circle people and bark at them which can be quite scary for these people minding there own business. He is scared of small children and their bikes. When visitors arrive Bert barks incessantly. Mark's training has been excellent and we now have a routine for these occasions. We have a much better understanding of how Bert sees things and why he behaves the way he does. Mark has shown us how to get control back and help Bert be less anxious.

Bert was possibly the most nervous dog I've seen for years but with careful application of the right amount of focus work and affection he's managed to become a quite relaxed dog in many of his daily situations. Unusual for a Labrador to be anxious of life. Fantastic effort and work by the owners has seen Bert start to enjoy life a bit more. Thanks for the commitment

Paddy and I had a great time learning with Mark. Paddy responded well to the techniques and I was suprised how calm he became. I'm excited to try out my new skills :)

Paddy is a typical 6mth old over exuberant Labrador. Lives on a Dairy farm . but hasn't a herding bone in his body. Lovely dog too full of beans. Both the owner and Paddy worked well ,took in the exercises and Paddy showed the results with a huge improvement in focus after just a couple of hours . Great job Paddy boy and owner.

We are thrilled with the improvement in our anxious dog's behaviour. Mark was easy to talk to and explained well the changes we needed to make to reduce the anxiety levels of our young springer spaniel. I am now able to take Becca on long walks without any lead pulling, and she is no longer barking aggressively at people coming to our front door. We still have a little way to go, but are confident we will have a happy dog in the end.
Trainer note from Mark
Becca was a timid and therefore aggressive barker and snapper at the door. We had to correct the barking right at the door because we couldn't hear each other before we could even sit down to talk. She responded well ,a little head strong at first but with guidance the owners got brilliant results by about half way through the lesson. Great work awesome effort.

Mark was professional and definitely helped Louis in the immediate time frame although we still have problems with his barking. Very cool to have Mark come back and help again a few months later. We are still trying hard with his guidelines and it is nice to know we can call on him again if we need to.

Quite challenging 2 dogs and house hold as there are several flat mates and a business work from home , a busy house. Busy dogs and not too much structure till now. The barking is at doors etc and anxiety on walks. They start to respond well in lesson situation but like all training consistency will help. Much better than they were and with a bit more persistent application they'll be even better, Great work guys, keep it up.

We were struggling with introducing a kitten into our home alongside our middle-aged westie. Mark gave sound advice and tips to correct the behaviour that Rosie was exhibiting and this worked immediately to change the behaviour. The kitten now happily roams freely around the house and Rosie is calm and settled in his presence. Mark was great to deal with - we would happily recommend him to anyone needing help with dog issues.
We haven't even booked a lesson or paid for the information, He just gave it to solve the problem fast for the safety of the pets.

Sally rang up in a state with two Westies and a new kitten they were hassling. We had booked an appointment but the problem needed immediate attention. I gave her some advice to apply ,and she took it on board immediately. Problem solved. We didn't need the lesson and saved a cats life . Great outcome. Well done Sally

My training with Mark was fantastic. The improvements in Chase's behaviour after that one session were remarkable. Mark is very clear in his teaching with instructions that were very clear and easy to follow.
The training techniques are straightforward and very effective.
The time spent training with Mark was fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mark and Barkbusters to other dog owners.

Very helpful session. I could see changes in Isa's behaviour by the end of the session, and now have some useful tools to continue with her training. I look forward to continuing to work with Mark on Isa's ongoing issues.
