Mark dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling
Mark invested in teaching us new ways to interact with Gordon that would help him to see us as leaders. He’s made amazing progress with general good manners and no longer greets our guests with a barrage of enthusiasm and barking and jumping. His loose lead walking has improved hugely in only a few days of practice. We have more work to do to retain his focus around other dogs - he still wants to socialise with everyone but barking was instense.

Mr Gordon a mini Schnauzer of 11mths and Schnauzer attitude, very reactive to door knocks , some sounds and dogs , very vocal. He responded quite well in the lesson but is certainly a work in progress for the owners. Major problems were pulling , jumpng ,recall , barking , and dog reactive barking . Still some steps to go but certainly improved.

Mark's teaching and advice provided has been thorough and specific to our dog's needs. He was generous with his time while helping us work on problem areas.
Our dog has responded extremely well. Our interactions with our dog are now more relaxed and enjoyable already.

Flint is large over reactive Huntaway of 5 yrs old. His problems were barking at passers by , cars up or down the drive plus chasing them , dog reactive and pulled, recall was quite a problem as well as barking when the owners dealt with our lifestyle block stock. Quite the in charge dog but a good temperament with people. Huge results on day one for Mr Flint and I'm keen to hear the down the track updates. Great work team Flint

I'm very impressed. My adorable looking little dog with major fear aggression and barking issues that made her difficult to live with is now behaving well after our first 3-hour session. I highly recommend Mark at Bark Busters training and skills to train me to train Bianca.

Lovely looking dog but boy is Bianca a barker and anxious of most visitors more so men. Huge reactions for the tiny tot at the door and visitors coming into the home. She'll need a couple of session all part of the Life of the dog guarantee but already big improvements, See you soon for a follow up session.

Mark went above and beyond to help with my dogs, very kind and supportive, quick to respond and always happy to advise. His training methods are understandable and effective using practical pack leader skills.

Due to circumstances this dog is a rehome for this owner and her 2nd time calling me, Bark Busters in to help. A few years ago she had a particularly difficult dog so she called when she knew she needed extra help with Pepper a Pitt bull x Amstaff of exceptionally good temperament and also a rehomed dog . But not so much previous education. Only minor work in progress left to do. It'll be an awesome dog and the owners onto it very well.

Pepper is an Amstaff x Bully breed who has lovely temperament and just needed some guidance . She's a rehome form unsure background. 2nd time around for this client and Bark Busters as I was also called in to help with a previous rehome dog a few years ago. Really just a touch up session to reteach the owner for her new dogs temperament and style of doing things. Great dog and well done .

Mark dealt with Jumping up, Puppy management, Sibling rivalry
Great lesson, Mark made everything make sense and we noticed improvements immediately. 2nd time around for us and Marks training as we called him in many years ago for a previous dog with behaviour issues.

Both dogs are Bully breeds , Luna Amstaff and Loki Staffy . Various issues but mostly called in for food resource guarding and sibling rivalry although both pulled strongly , jumped up and very hyper excited. Most of the issues were covered in the first lesson but some work in progress still to go but future revisits will resolve those those. Great work guys , Great to hear progress.

Amazing expert advice, made the session really easy, and comfortable given how nervous I was, saw results within the hour which was outstanding. Lilah responded and did as asked easily. No treats needed. Even got her to sit and stay on her bed. A 1st.

Lilah is a super clever dog Foxy x probably heading dog 2yrs old, as all her behaviours resembled heading dog /Collie behaviour the assumption is that's her breeding.. She never stops moving , barking and herding the family , she struggled to switch off and relax. Pulled constantly ,could get her attention . Our lesson started a little difficult to get her attention but then she switched in once I instructed Nicolas to apply our speak dog techniques. There is still some work to do and another session should see her right and training family to communicate with her correctly . Great work so far , I'll hear from you soon with an update.

We had Mark come n help us be the best fur parents we can be to our new mini dachshund. We found it very informative n is a work in progress. We look forward to all that Mark has to offer with his wide knowledge. Currently trying to put his training into practice🙂🐶

Little Doug is a 10wk old Dachshund with new little dogs parents. Been a while since they've had a puppy . We started with the basics and did what we could before wee man fell asleep . Basics of recall , not jumping up , on his bed, a intro to lead work . All part of the Life of the dog guarantee. Another sesion in a few weeks to work further now he's got those tasks sorted . In home dog training covers all the problems and situations before they become an issue. Naturally pups are a work in progress so catch up next trip master Doug.

Mark gave us the confidence and the tools to use every day so that we communicate better with our pup, and taught us how to teach her better behaviour and walking better on the lead

Indie is an Oamaru barker girl, 15mth old Mini Schnauzer who was reacting to everything walking past , pulled constantly, recall even in the garden wasn't good especially when rushing at passers by. She responded well in the lesson and calmed dramatically , still some work in progress to do but great progress so far. A revisit shortly will recap and readjust Indies view of the street life and what's allowed to walk down her street.

The lesson with Mark has been really helpful. Elmo is now a lot more attentive, more relaxed, and is generally eager to please. But I'd have to say that the main issue of barking when the rubbish trucks/posties etc go past definitely needs a lot more work on our part. A work in rogress.

Elmo is a head strong Jack russell of 7 yrs old and who reacts to rubbish trucks and passers by , couriers etc with loud and lots of barking. He pulled a bit , jumped up and the barking at arrivals and trucks was the main reason for the owner calling He'll be a bit a work in progress and on the day of the lesson responded well but it wasn't rubbish truck day . We'll set up another session on rubbish day to work through the rest of his issues. Good job 1st time round Elmo and the Elmo team.

We highly recommend Mark, Zena is showing promise after only the 1st lesson and he's taught us to communicate in a way she understands. We still have a bit of work to go but we are heading in the right direction already.

Zena is a 11mth old Chocolate lab rehome to these owners only 6 weeks ago. Although she had basics of sit etc not much else training had been invested in her. So back to the basics of how to speak dog to teach dog so the owners could teach her and bring a sense of safety, security , and nurturing in line for Zena. Great first lesson and as part of the life of the dog guarantee she will get future lessons to fine tune what is still a work in progress process. Awesome job guys , see you again soon.

Mark has great dog training skills and instructed us well which had an immediate impact with our dogs behaviour. She was not coming when called ,Jumped a lot , generally a good dog but too hyper and barker at our fence lines.

Bodhi is a female boxer of 4 yrs old , full on , but such a clever thinker , playing games to be in charge and not recalling was her biggest game, also jumped up , , some dog reactive problems , and a barking match with the neighbours dogs. She responded very well and the owners applied the techniques well. She will test them but so far great progress after the 1st lesson . Updates to follow. Awesome work guys and Zena.
