After 3 hours of Mark being with us we had a very calm, relaxed dog. I think George has had one eye open since the day he was born. It was wonderful to see him relaxed. He is enjoying his training and responding so well. Thank you 😊
Trainer note from Mark
$ year old George was a stressed Border Collie, getting worried about arrivals and more so people leaving, staring them down and nippy as they leave. He had worked himself up the house hold pecking order through the usual dog processes of manipulating passive dominance skills with out the owners realizing and reacting to everything moving or noisy around him. Puller, barker , intense at gate . but aggressive on leaving. A very clever dog but the wrong temperament to lead. Great work guys at applying Georges pack rules and calming his mind so he can relax. Keen to hear the update soon.

It was expensive for me on a budget but worth every cent. I can now walk my wee girl as if she hasn't got a lead on. The training was very easy to follow and put into practice. A full folder of instructions and notes were left with me to refer to as I chose to do the one off lesson only. I feel as if I am the boss and not her! Mark also had a great way with dogs! I would love to do what he does and may even look into it in a couple of years!

Pearl is a lovely natured Staffy x but hasn't had much training and a rehome from a bad situation. She was a very strong puller some separation anxiety and jumped up ,barked a bit , got very over excited. Shes has now got a forever home and a great owner who as invested in her to end up with a very very good dog. They will have a lovely life together. So proud of wee Pearl and mum too.

We feel like we have a new dog! Just having Mark around once has been a huge help!
Tommy no longer pulls on the lead and walks next to us, he listens to us better, no longer barking at people walking past. So stoked we went ahead with this training, we learnt a lot!
Trainer note from Mark
Tommy is a Blue heeler but with an anxious disposition, a young teen dog trying to deal with things beyond his ability and the owners not sure how to help him. He was dispalying strong aggression to dogs and even some people due to stress. We started with basic focus exercises and then applied them to the problem situations, almost instant focus and a calmer dog started to appear. Great with the feedback and its seems the skills have stuck in place.

Our training session with Mark was fantastic. I learnt so much about my dogs personality type, strategies to help us work with our puppy, and the ins and outs of creating the best environment for him. I am so grateful for these new strategies to enjoy my puppy and help him to be his best puppy self.

the teenager in 8mth old Mana ,labradoodle was certainly starting to show. Not a bad dog but certainly the guidance needed to be applied to have great future family dog. The owners applied the techniques and get to see the results of good clean communication in a dog way. Speak dog to teach dog. Nice job guys.

Mark was great! We appreciated his approach and how he explained the techniques and gave us an insight on the breed of the dog to help us better understand why he does certain things. We have seen a significant change in our dog from our session with Mark. Highly recommend!

Bentley is a Labrador border collie cross of just over a year old , and the owners struggled to walk him, new baby in a pram as well, a barker at the Neighbour's , jumped on the guests, recall and separation anxiety also issues. He responded very well to our techniques and we even went for a walk baby buggy and all . Great lesson and so long as the owners keep the program in place he'll be an awesome family dog.

Probably an 80% improvement in his behaviour in the first lesson .A dog with a very strong temperament and needs constant reminders. Very pleased all round with Marks training and advice. We need to keep going to harness the final 20%.
Thanks Kelvin

Kaiser is a Japanese x German Spitz, strong individual temperament and react to fence line activity, on a corner section. He's Been let get much higher in the pecking order than the owners intended through his passive skills and territorial inclinations. The lesson showed he can ignore the distractions with a little training and using the exercises on a daily basis

As expected, Mark was very informative, specific to my queries and incredibly helpful. I’m looking forward to learning a lot from Mark
Please note this was a preemptive meeting to discuss preparing for my new puppies arrival. So pup wasn’t in attendance (hence the answers below reflect this)
Trainer note from Mark
This client has done her research and got us in prior to their new Rotty puppy arriving , great for thought and all is set for pups new home from day one . As the puppy hasn't arrived yet the client has marked NO to dog responding . 1st lesson is soon mid Sept a week after arrival date

It has been a bit of a journey with our active Pippi. But Mark was always there to answer questions and especially motivate us to keep going with the training, using patience, consistency, persistence, and repetition. And all that work is now paying out. We now have a well-mannered young dog to go on lots of adventures with us. Thanks a lot!

Pippi is an interesting combination of Border Colie smarts , Jack Russell full on and a tich of Labrador. The Collie and Jack Russell traits pull through very strongly and she's been a work in progress . Strong drive to be leading and high focus on everything aroud her. Great work to persivere and gain the wins long term. Well done team Pippi.

Simply put- amazing in every way!
Mark listened to my concerns and went through everything in a methodical manner which was easy to understand. His advice was valuable. I’m now understanding dog speak! It’s definitely a work in progress but I’m sure we’ll get there.

Tough wee man this Alfie. Shiba Inu dogs are usually quite strong temperaments. Starting off young in the right way to curb their natural want to be in charge instinct's helps. Alfie responded well as did the owners applying the refocusing and training info and techniques. The first lesson of several while Alfie is young, pre 6 mths of age to instill the basics of good puppy management and obedience. Nice work guys well done . See you soon.

Molly & Dre are two very energetic boxers aged 4 & 2.5 respectively. We'd been having trouble with communication/control of them when they get into a hyperactive state (which was a lot!) in various situations such as when we get visitors, when they see people walk past the property, out on walks, in public settings etc - and we really needed to figure out how to break this behaviour which was getting gradually more difficult over time.
When Mark arrived, he was immediately able to gauge the personality/needs of both dogs just from initial behaviours and was able to diagnose the best starting point for us to try tackle the multiple issues we were having with very simple and clear leadership and communication strategies. The thing my wife and I were most worried about with looking into dog-training was fear of being judged, but Mark's approach was the complete opposite of this, he was able to articulate to us how the dogs get to this level of anxiety/hyperactivity and how we can best manage it via communication-based training (rather than food-motivated training or physical-based punishment or reward). This was exactly how we want to be able to manage our dogs behaviour - by tackling these problems at their source.
As the session went on, we were able to address each area of concern we had one step at a time, and just having the dogs' focus on us and our leadership for this amount of time was so amazing for us - we couldn't believe the transformation happening before our eyes!
When Mark introduced the included barkbusters equipment (such as leads, collars, and harness options) we were further amazed by how much having the right equipment can help with training. When practicing lead walking there was no pulling, no overexcitement, and most importantly no anxiety from the dogs feeling like they need to be aware of everything happening around them (distraction was always one of the biggest issues for us).
We'll be booking a follow up appointment with Mark in a few weeks' time to start building out the walking practice to situations with a bit more stimuli, so are really looking forward to the next steps.
But 4 days on post-appointment, we couldn't be more impressed! The dogs seem so much happier and as a result so are we! We really highly recommend this trainer to anyone facing any type of issue with their dogs - with Mark there seems to be a solution for any problem, no matter how big or small!
Thanks Mark! :)

Molly and Dre are both Boxers . They have dog reactive issues , bark at passers by , were jumping up , and pulled hugely. All the family responded well to our training , humans included . Huge improvements in just the first lesson but still more steps to take to calm the farm further. Next session we'll work on the dog interactions and walking more. Work in progress but great strides forward already. Great job Boxer team .

I am very happy with all the advice and training that Mark gave me. Lily is already walking beside me while on the leash. I would certainly recommend him for anyone needing dog training.

Well done to this lovely but determined 82 year old lady and her rehome Staffy Lily. Lily has some behaviours that have come from previous owners. She pulled and recall is not great , but small dog aggression was also apparent. Our first lesson was just developing focus and basic controls . lily did well and the owner more so. Fantastic work guys . We'll catch up for a 2nd session soon.

We had a great session with Mark and we were really impressed with the change in Ernie's behaviour after just one lesson. Our wee guy is headstrong and is definitely a work in progress so we are so grateful that we have Mark's ongoing support.

Ernie is a very head strong Cairn Terrier x West Highland white Terrier. barker boy but super puller and recall not very flash. I'm sure his idea is he was running the house. He responded well but will be a work in progress and the next session should see significant improvements on the 1st lesson as the owners apply his pack rules and language to retrain his behaviours. Great work so far guys. See you soon.
