Our second time round with Bark Busters, the last dog has passed away a while ago due to old age . We didn't even look any where else for our new puppies training. Wonderful. Wold always use Bark Busters

- R.G, Christchurch, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
These clients are of mature age and needed to get on top of the young pups behaviour as its a large breed, before it becomes an issue so Puppy management from day one was the go. Response from pup and owners was immediate but a pup is always a work in progress.

Amazing results in a very short time, very ,very impressed. It was kind ,dignified and harm free ,yet still very effective. I wish I had done it years ago, Millie is almost 6. My advice to dog owners with problems is don't hesitate- do it now. I would totally recommend Bark Busters to anyone needing help with their dogs. Thank you so much Mark

Excellent. Immediate change in dogs behaviour. Will still need a session or 2 to address Mayos dog aggression

- H.W, Christchurch, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Dogs were very intense barkers , pulled lots , didn't focus. Great 1st results and the next session will be addressing aggression to other dogs. Responded well .nice work owners. 2nd session done with dog aggression in mind. Mayo worked well and pretty much ignored a one on one walk on the street with another dog.

We discussed the behaviour of Kuri, Kuri showed immediate improvement with no stress and easy to apply techniques over a relaxed and enjoyable lesson. Mark Has certainly found his calling with a calm and positive manner

- A.R, Reefton, West Coast (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Kuri lives in an out of the way place Inagahua Junction with no dog training remotely close. A lot of off lead opertunity has been given because of the nature of the property which we needed to apply to that lifestyle, Kuri is going to be a great dog just by apply the techniques and rules learnt and responded well to the training session. 30/7/2017 Emailing Progress now its a month and half since our lesson. Kuri is doing soooo well, Well worth the investment with Bark Busters. As I type the cat Kuri and me are all on the couch snuggled up, a bit of a squeeze, a first and unconceiveable before the lesson.

My husband and I had just adopted a one year old Collie x (Tank) from second chance rescue a couple of weeks before. He was a beautiful boy, but was very excitable on a lead and jumped and pulled. Tank also had some recall but mostly ran as soon as he was off the lead at the beach. Mark was our trainer. Mark taught us some selected verbal communication tones used at the correct time, were amazing at getting a positive response from Tank. First lesson Tank was walking calmly on his lead. Mark was so relaxed and made the training easy to understand. We are now able to enjoy Tank fully and know we have made the best descision possible getting Bark Busters involved. We would highly recommend Mark as an advanced dog trainer++++++

- B.H, South Brighton, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Tank and the family were a bit stressed, A very excitable dog Tank took on board the technique and so did the family. This dog will be legend for years to come and no doubt create lots of pleasure for all.

Our Dog Gus is young but as ex farmers we'd never had issues training a dog before. Gus is a lowland polish sheepdog , and needs grooming but also the basics that we were struggling with. Mark came to us in Geraldine,a 2 hour drive from his home town to spend time walking us through the program. We saw immediate results and Gus responded well to us ,as the training was for us to teach him. We liked that no food was used and found he responded to the praise so well. Dealt with all manner of our lifestyle as we live on the land and needed good control off lead. Mark was patient and clear and never bothered by anything..

- R.B, Geraldine, Canterbury (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Great dog , Gus was pretty bouncy and as he wasn't actually being used for farm work due to a lifestyle change ,he needed focus. Responded well once the basics were applied. Great owners and two vey old 16 year old dogs to learn a bit from.

I was nervous but Mark made me and dog feel at ease.

- K.M, Blenheim, Marlborough (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
One very grumpy dog at the gate and doors, responded great in the lesson , it was evening and dark and cold so just about all was done in the house as the lighting around was poor. This dog just needed leaders.

We were desperate to get some help as Mya had two very distressing habits - digging veges out of the garden and chasing cats. Mark immediately gave us confidence that he would be able to help with these issues. While we couldn't get results on the issues at our first training there was a noticeable change once we took a more dominant and didn't allow her to lead us. Mya responded quickly when using the techniques Mark described and demonstrated. He was encouraging and supportive during the training. We understand that we need to get this right and perservere before we can expect to see changes on the big issues but Mark assurred us that he would be there to help.

- L.R, Mosgiel, Otago (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Interesting case of an older dog 7 year old Golden retriever who had started digging when it wasn't an issue before, probably connected to the loss of an older dog who passed and a new house . Mya is a great dog but pulled and recall was becoming an issue all related to her getting and manipulating more dominance. Great effort by the owners and the next visit should show a marked difference in behaviours..

Mark has visited twice. He is a calm, confident trainer who helped us understand our female KBT pup. Riley respects my husband as top dog but she tries to dominate me. Mark demonstrated how I should use 'passive dominance' more consistently. Her other issues were barking/guarding front door if anyone tried to leave; barking/attention-seeking whilst we talk on phone/ vacuum cleaner etc; whining in the car; jumping & biting me at the park when excited! She's a sweetie most of the time - loves her family and other people and loves to play with other dogs. We just need to stop her bad habits. It's a work in progress but good to know Mark is available if we need further guidance.

- D.O, Normanby, Otago (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
Quite a challenge as this Kerry Blue terrier is very passively dominant and that hasn't been picked up till now by the owners. Very clever dog. But huge improvements in just a couple of sessions.

We found Mark's training to be a turning point in our relationship with our dogs. Since the first training a week ago, the dogs have been more settled and focused on us in positive ways. Mark trained us all as a family, particularly focusing on our teenagers so that they have more confidence and competence to manage the dogs. Consequently they are taking more responsibility in their care and walking and we are all having more fun. The dogs are now pulling minimally on their walks and we are trying new things with them. The training collars and training pillows which came with the lessons are really effective. When we have needed to contact Mark because of issues he has been available to us. Mark's training style helped us feel more calm and confident which is essential when trying to manage challenging behaviours. We would definitely recommend Mark to others needing help with their dogs.

- R.M, Lyall Bay, Wellington (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
These dogs are rehome dogs from very dudious sitation and pretty much no education and at 3 years old there are some very serious behaviour issues but this family are their forever home so have taken on board the challenge and realise the work in progress for one of the dogs. fantastic response from the owners to employ the techniques shown and apply them. I'm looking forward to catching up and seeing progress

I'm not sure who got the most out of the training us or the dogs. Mark is a fabulous guy. Approachable and friendly and with a true passion for his job. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mark and Barkbusters. 14/5/2017 "We've had people come for training before and were apprehensive about going through with a lesson. Haven't really had any success until now . It's night 3 and we've managed to have 3 nights of no barking during dinner, haven't had to sit outside while the dinner is being cooked either. They were always lovely dogs but now they're quiet lovely dogs." Linda(Okee and Wendy)

- L.J, Lower Hutt, Wellington (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Mark
awesome wee dogs and fantastic caring owners, you'll all do great and happy home guys.
