Mark and Bark Busters have saved the day and my confidence in handling my beautiful sweet 1 year old border collie x Billie Jean. Because she’s grown in a big strong dog I was struggling to walk her on the lead because of her pulling… it was becoming a danger to me and to Billie I was also becoming very frustrated…. There were other issues too that I wanted help with.
Marks approach and training method was gentle but firm and I felt she has responded very well especially to the praise when she does what is asked of her … there is a huge turn around with in a couple of days and is no longer pulling on the lead or taking up her posie on the sofa and is listening to me
It’s early days and I understand that she will still test me but I now have the tools to be in control instead of the other way around !!

Billie Jean was not her lover , just a girl who thought that she was the one , Lovely temperament but just big ,strong and not listening at all. very strong young Collie x Staffy possibly mastiff. Billie and mum responded very well and with the simple , easy exercises to develop focus and leadership Billie has learned to walk very well very quickly , at 1yr old she's still a teen and will need regular daily programming but its looking like a much happier house already.

Fantastic! We have had other trainers for our wee girl and didn't want to have too much hope for a new trainer. Mark has given us hope again! He equipped us with very effective tools to handle our problems and our 2 year old rescue has never been calmer. Can't wait for our second session.

Certainly Betsy was a nervous girl of men and visitors she's not common with. Being a street rescue from up north any number of adverse situations could have caused her reactions. But by getting the mums to refocus her, speakdog and communicate in a way she can understand them and talk her language she did actually come round to enjoying the man pats and focus on tasks way better. Still some ways to go but a great start and the next session should get her moving forward in confidence and focus. Keen to catch up soon and well done ladies.

Our 7 yr old Australian/Cairn Terrier is super lovable but can have a mind of his own and is territorial. Mark gave us the tools to communicate what we needed from Max so that he behaved in a better way. It quickly became apparent during the time Mark was with us that Max was keen to listen. Although we know that there is still alot of work to be done with Max, we are confident that both he, as well as us together with the on-going help from Mark, that a positive outcome will be achieved.

Little Max , well highly loveable but certainly leader his pack, quite reactive to noises and especially carers coming to the granny flat for mums care. Enemy number one. The owners took on board the dog theories and applied our speak dog processes with Max responding very well . I'm keen to catch up in a week or two to check on progress. Well done team Max

Mark was super generous with his time, he even called to see us on his way to an appointment to offer some advice without payment prior to us confirming a lesson, we were super impressed and engaged him to help with Sylvie.
Her travel anxiety was a real worry for us which threatened to derail our caravanning plans, Mark has provided us with the tools and a plan to overcome her issues, we feel so much better and confident, which is half the battle. thank you Mark we look forward to our next catch up.

Sylvie is a Cavoodle 18mths old , lives in Bannockburn near Cromwell and very little access to training or advice. Her issues are those of an anxious but also very passively pushy dog, she Barks , dog reactive to the neighbours dogs, jumps , pulls , very anxious of car travel . I stopped in to give some quick pointers which helped their cause and then on the next trip to the region they booked in a lesson , Huge improvements almost instantly. I'm looking forward to catching up in the near future

Incredibly happy with my first lesson from Mark..can totally see where I have been going wrong with koby..I have quiet a few things to tackle but mark has given me the tools in how to go about it.

Mark was incredible! When mark said the first three hour session would make a huge difference, I didn’t really expect to see so much of a change in Kygo, he’s a completely different dog. Mark gave us really simple and practical tasks to do with him, and explained the reasons behind each one. He also fitted him with a Wagg Walker harness. Highly recommend Mark and looking forward to seeing Kygo get even better over the next couple weeks. Money well spent

Unbelievable difference so quickly! Really impressed with how effective the training is, we are seeing a significant improvement in the biggest issue which was aggression with other dogs when out walking. I think if we keep up the practice we will soon be able to walk past other dogs without having a reaction. So glad we made the decision to go with Bark Busters

Two Lincoln standard poodles who were certainly in charge of the visitors invaders and front door answering, Very reactive barking, not aggressive but full on. The biggest issue was aggression with dogs when on lead and walking. Both dogs responded really well and the owners put in place our simple techniques easily. Although called in for only one of the two dogs , the second also had plenty of issues to rectify. Great job guys , looking forward to catching up to see progress.

Tandy is a darling little 10-month-old Foxy Jack Russell cross - he’s snuggly, energetic, clever, quick to learn tricks, loves to play and run and is our best little mate.
But he was very nippy with mum - constantly mouthing, nibbling and getting rougher with me as he got older.
We tried puppy school, teenage puppy school and all of the tricks on the internet and while he learned all the usual commands really quickly, nothing we did stopped our little land shark!
I was at my wit's end when I contacted Mark at Bark Busters. I was frustrated, there had been tears and I was exhausted trying to constantly deter Tandy from nipping at me and my clothes - which never really happened to my partner.
I was getting pretty stressed out, annoyed and sad that I couldn’t seem to communicate with Tandy and I didn’t want him picking up on that and become scared, anxious or naughty with me.
It felt like Tandy didn’t see me as any sort of leader, just a human chew toy! It felt like he was constantly hyped up, needed to settle and reset.
Within about two minutes of arriving at our house Mark had sad the magic words and Tandy pretty much instantly started doing things very differently.
We are now a week into our Bark Busters life and Tandy is so chilled, so relaxed, so calm and so responsive! We are still a work in progress but I can genuinely say he’s a different little mate from a week ago - barely a tooth has touched my skin! It’s a huge and amazing relief and we are SO thankful to Mark for teaching us how to talk to our puppy properly!
We’ve also managed to significantly curb some secondary issues that were starting to emerge - barking outside, refusing to drop things he shouldn’t have.
We are all SO much happier - and I SO much less exhausted now I am not constantly on guard.
Thank you so much Mark! We would highly, highly recommend anyone else with pup issues (big or small) to try the Bark Busters programme. It’s phenomenal!!

Mark was amazing with his teaching and his knowledge with dogs. Loved how he went over things inside 1st so we could get our head around it all before we started working with Mackie. What a difference the tools he gave us worked and how she responded immediately. I feel way more confident with her and my other dogs. Best call I ever made was to mark. Thank you so much

The owner is a breeder of Blue and Red Heelers in a working farm environment , 22 dogs total through out the large hill country farm. 3 professional shepherds and 3 teams of work dogs , and the heelers. I was called in for aggression issues with one particularly strong willed red female heeler who dislikes men as will rush and nip, if she is snuck up on or frightened , due to an incident with of physicality with a previous worker. Fear aggression issues with a strong backing herself attitude. She responded well and with the already quite high skill set of the owners she'll improve, she maybe a work in progress but already going in the right direction. Nice work guys and gals.

Mark was inspirational, tireless and extremely accommodating. He answered all our questions, clearly and with great patience. He has changed our exhausted, "puppy in charge" life to a much more relaxed, "we call the shots now" life. This man obviously understands dogs so well and the focus on positivity and strong leadership by the owner vs force and negativity make us want to promote Bark Busters to any 'uneducated' dog owner. Mark absolutely earned the fee :)

Onespot is a 6mth old foxy and full on ,no off switch , was really challenging the owners , jumping ,nipping ,no recall , pulling, all in fun as far as Onespot was concerned. To add to the mix is a scared of life and everyone Chihuahua Richie, barked constantly at arrivals & neither were getting on with each other. As soon as I got the owners to apply the "speakdog to teach dog" language both dogs settled very quickly. Then we could walk through how to communicate effectively and kindly. Nice job team Onespot , I'll hear from you soon with an update.

Very clever dog who knows to try and be lead dog in the house hold. Great firsts steps but probably will be work in progress as the human behaviour changes to modify Bullits behaviours. Mark was amazing with bobby, bobby was taking over our house and we had some other trainers who were absolutely hopeless so we didn’t have high hopes, Mark had bobby trained within 3 hours to do things we did not think was possible, highly recommend, don’t waste your money anywhere else , we are looking forward to our next catch up

He responded very well to our Speak Dog to teach dog programming. A couple of next day questions from the owners and it appears he's really learning to chill out. Nice Job Mr Booby boy.
