What an amazing experience this has been. Despite owning dogs before (and struggling with training methods) we were unsure how to proceed with a new Dachshund puppy of 14 months. We had attended a course for puppies with a group of 6 others but the individual coaching in our home with Keiko surpassed anything else that could be offered. Not only did she deal with the specific problems we had but the reinforcement of her ideas in the written form was so very useful in the months following. A 2nd session with Keiko at our home, reinforced all these ideas and dealt with some more specific problems we still had. We are about to organise our 3rd session now that we understand our dog's nature better. We heartedly recommend Keiko, expensive but DEFINITELY worth it!

Keith was excellent - insightful, patient, thoughtful, and answered our questions simply and clearly.

I was feeling a bit out of control with my 4 month old German Shepherd puppy. He was intrusive, stealing things and hyperactive at times. Keiko had helped me in the past with another dog which had been very helpful, so even though Oscar has a fairly calm temperament, I decided to call and get an early handle on his behaviour. Keiko gave an excellent presentation using her iPad followed up with one on one instruction with Oscar. She gave me a much useful help on establishing leadership along with homework and instruction to arrange a follow-up appointment. I found our interaction encouraging and I’m feeling much more confident about my relationship with my puppy. I would happily recommend Keiko to anyone who is feeling in need of help with their dog.

Milo was having some issues around resource guarding and lead pulling. He would often protect socks and his dinner. Mark was approachable, great to talk to in person and on the phone phone. Mark provided many invaluable techniques and information when training. Some of the techniques had instant results and i was genuinely surprised and overjoyed how effective they were. Even in a month i have already recommended Mark/Bark Busters to half a dozen friends that have dogs with behavioral issues. 10/10 would recommend.

I highly recommend Keiko, she is amazing. I was impressed with how well my pup responded to her in our first session. The knowledge Keiko has shared has changed how I communicate with my puppy Coco. The methods work, all it takes is time, patience and consistency. I have seen improvements with Coco in such a small amount of time and feel even more confident having the expertise of Keiko guide me through this exciting journey.

Mark gave us easy and clear training techniques for training our testing 1 year old Labrador who we came to realise was our pack leader. Shadow is making great progress already with sit, stay, come, leave it and more. The Bah word is working amazingly. We only have to pick up the pillow and we have her attention. We look forward to seeing more progress day by day.

Training seems to have been very effective so far

Our little Cairn Terrier is true to his Terrier traits. He’s very stubborn but is responding to the techniques we’ve been taught by Keith at Barkbusters. We still have a way to go but there has been a great improvement. And it’s reassuring we have lifetime help with him.

Thanks to Mark I now understand how my dog best responds to what I need them to do. The focus on doing the basic training in home first, gaining trust and respect with my dog means I no longer fear the worst but am hopeful for our bond getting stronger as I lead them going forward.

Mark was so informative, supportive, patient and helpful. My children also got involved with the training and we all felt supported and optimistic about being able to look after 2 dogs in the best way possible
